In this pill, Gourmet Sommelier compares, in a sample of white wines without aging from the D.O. Penedès, the scores obtained by these wines according to two reference guides, Wine Guide of Catalonia (GDV) Y Peñín guide(PÑ).

Conclusions

The Peñín Guide score is, on average, a 10% inferior to the Wine Guide of Catalonia.

Only in a third part of the wines do the evaluations of the two guides coincide.

We reaffirm our idea that each user should identify the guide and/or prescriber whose assessment is closest to their personal taste.
